Every SassyPantsTees item is made to order by us in Newfane, NY. SassyPantsTees offers two different methods of printing, in order to provide a process that best suits your artwork. We offer sublimation "DYED" printing for the majority of our products, as well as DTF printing on selected items. Please check each item for Item Specific Process.
DYE - What is our Dye Process?
Your tee will have a vintage dyed look. The poly count of your item will determine the vibrancy of the print. Our vintage dye process is done by printing a special sublimation ink onto special sublimation transfer paper. When heat pressed with an industrial press, the ink actually becomes a part of the tee. The image transferred onto your tee won’t crack or peel over time like vinyl or screenprint would. The finish is also smooth, soft, and stylish because it literally becomes one with the tee. When doing our dye print, only the polyester yarns in a garment will hold the ink so keep in mind that sublimation inks are transparent, which means that it’s best to print on light colored tees so your image is transferred properly. Any white in the graphics of the Design Mockup will be transparent showing the shirt color.
